1. Direct Support Professionals: 
MILS is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist our clients with In-Home Services.  These services are provided in the clients home/apartments.  Staff will support individuals with daily living skills, money management, appointments, community activities/recreation development, medication administration, and implementation of goals.

Qualifications for Direct Support Professional: 
  • Worked in a human services related field preferred (PCA, CNA, Group Home staff or DT&H staff)
  • Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or Mental Illness
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid insurance
  • Pass DHS background check

2. Direct Care Supervisor:
MILS is seeking a Direct Care Supervisor to assist the people we serve andtheir direct care staff with managing their services. Supervisor will help managers with hiring, scheduling,training in new staff, retraining current staff, checking in on staff and the people we serve to ensure programs are being implemented properly, and making sure our staff and people we serve have the tools they need to succeed. This position is 20 percent in the office doing paperwork and 80 percent out in the field working with staff and the people they serve.

Qualifications for Direct Care Supervisor: 
  • Worked in a human services related field required (PCA, CNA, Group Home staff or DT&H staff)Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or Mental Illness required.
  • 2 years of supervisor experience required
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving
  • 18 years or older
  • Valid insurance
  • Pass DHS background check
  • Organized and Detailed Oriented
  • Flexible Schedule

3. Activities Coordinator
MILS is seeking an Activities Coordinator to prepare, lead, and set up for 2-3 activities per month. Activities range from guest speakers, crafts, safety classes, community events, and big group games like bingo. Coordinator would be responsible for creating monthly newsletter/calendar, arranging car pools, help assist with getting people to and from events. Position is 8 hours per week (5 hours planning and 3 hours leading the event).
Qualifications for Activities Coordinator:
  • Worked in a human services related field preferred (PCA, CNA, Group Home staff or DT&H staff)Previous experience working with adults with developmental disabilities or Mental Illness preferred.
